Does esports have any educational benefit? Can competitive gaming really equip students with life skills? In this webinar, you’ll hear from the experts as we answer these questions. First block, 30 minutes: Danny Martin, Co-Founder and CEO of Esposure Inc. We will get insights from an esports industry leader and former athlete on how skills in traditional sports can also be learned on the esports side. Second block, 1 hour: Dr. Alok Kanojia, Harvard-trained psychiatrist and President of HealthyGamer. We’ll hear from Dr. K about the academic merits and developmental benefits of esports and competitive gaming. Final block, 30 minutes: MacKenzie Price, Co-Founder of Esports Academy and 2-Hour Learning. Finally, Esports Academy co-founder will talk us through the details of how the 2-hour learning model works and what results she’s already seen out of Alpha School – Esports Academy’s sister school in Austin.
